This product is a recombinant Taq DNA polymerase modified by antibody, suitable for Hot Start PCR. At room temperature, the activity of Taq DNA polymerase is blocked by antibodies, thus inhibiting the non-specific amplification caused by the non-specific annealing of primers or the dimer of primers at room temperature. When the amplification reaction system was heated to 95°C and heated for 2min, the polymerase activity was restored due to the denaturation of Taq enzyme antibody. Therefore, no special deactivation treatment was required, and it could be used under conventional PCR reaction conditions.

One unit is the amount of enzyme that will incorporate 10 nmol of dNTP into acid-insoluble products in 30 minutes at 74°C with activated salmon sperm DNA as the template-primer.
