Function	The product of this enzyme, tetrahydrobiopterin (BH-4), is an essential cofactor for phenylalanine, tyrosine, and tryptophan hydroxylases.
Summary	QDPR is the enzyme dihydropteridine reductase, which catalyzes the NADH-mediated reduction of quinonoid dihydrobiopterin. This enzyme is an essential component of the pterin-dependent aromatic amino acid hydroxylating systems.
Form	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Predicted band size : 26 kDa Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST. Western blot analysis of QDPR Antibody (C-term) (Cat. AMR09683G) in mouse liver tissue lysates (35ug/lane). QDPR (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab. Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with QDPR Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
