The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing Prostaglandin E2 The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the EK00111Ee kit is based on Prostaglandin E2 antibody-Prostaglandin E2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Prostaglandin E2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, recombinant, Prostaglandin E3. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted human body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV (%).

Function |
Converts angiotensin I to angiotensin II by release of the terminal His-Leu, this results in an increase of the vasoconstrictor activity of angiotensin. Also able to inactivate bradykinin, a potent vasodilator. Has also a glycosidase activity which releases GPI-anchored proteins from the membrane by cleaving the mannose linkage in the GPI moiety.
