Function	Cytochrome c oxidase (COX, complex IV) is the terminal component of the mitochondrial respiratory chain that catalyzes the reduction of oxygen to water. Required for complex IV maintenance.
Summary	Accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed to be not involved in catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.

Images	Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded H. kidney section using NDUA4 Antibody (C-term)( AP20519B). AP20519B was diluted at 1:25 dilution. A undiluted biotinylated goat polyvalent antibody was used as the secondary, followed by DAB staining. Fluorescent image of Hela cells stained with NDUA4 Antibody (C-term)( AP20519B). AP20519B was diluted at 1:25 dilution. An Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG at 1:400 dilution was used as the secondary antibody (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue). Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor? 555 conjugated with Phalloidin (red). NDUA4 Antibody (C-term) (Cat. APR08636G) western blot analysis in SW480,Hela cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the NDUA4 antibody detected the NDUA4 protein (arrow).
