Summary	Fibrinogen-like 1 is a member of the fibrinogen family.This protein is homologous to the carboxy terminus of thefibrinogen beta- and gamma- subunits which contains the fourconserved cysteines of fibrinogens and fibrinogen related proteins.However, this protein lacks the platelet-binding site,cross-linking region and a thrombin-sensitive site which arenecessary for fibrin clot formation. This protein may play a rolein the development of hepatocellular carcinomas. Four alternativelyspliced transcript variants encoding the same protein exist forthis gene.

Images	Western blot analysis of lysate from HepG2 cell line, using FGL1 Antibody (C-term)(Cat. APR03724G). APR03724G was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug per lane. FGL1 Antibody (C-term) (Cat. APR03724G)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human liver tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining.This data demonstrates the use of FGL1 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
