The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing Thyroxine The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the EK00001Ee kit is based on Thyroxine antibody-Thyroxine antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Thyroxine antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, recombinant, Thyroxine. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted human body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV (%).

Cellular Localization |
Thyroxine is synthesized via the iodination and covalent bonding of the phenyl portions of tyrosine residues found in an initial peptide, thyroglobulin, which is secreted into thyroid granules. These iodinated diphenyl compounds are cleaved from their peptide backbone upon being stimulated by thyroid-stimulating hormone.
