Introduction
It is possible to produce usable antibodies within a short time, when the peptide is designed and produced by us, we guarantee reactivity of the immune serum with the peptide. As with any antibody project there is no telling beforehand how well the antibody will work in your application, if at all. It may be that all that is required is more time for the antibodies to mature.
If you don't have the antigen readily available, you could use a synthetic peptide conjugated to a carrier molecule as the immunogen. Proper peptide design work and the use of high quality reagents and a robust synthesis protocol will allow for a rushed peptide production, which shields your project from serious delays while ensuring that quality is maintained.
Accelerated immunization protocols may be called for in special cases. However, the vast majority of custom antibody projects are not special in that respect, but rather the opposite. Instead of accelerating the booster intervals one should apply a standard protocol that is tested and proven for thousands of projects, and make adaptations so that earlier bleeds are accommodated. You will hedge your bets, so to speak. If it works, you will have antibodies really soon. If it doesn't work at first, then it is possible to use later bleeds which have a better chance of containing your required antibody.

★Adjustable titer acceptance criteria to fulfill different deadline time |
Note:
1. Customers could choose their own titer acceptance criteria from 1:100 to 1:60,000, the higher the titer, the harder the preparation, higher risk of failure, and longer cycle;
2. According to different requirements, customers can choose time limitation (reach specific titer in the prescriptive time) or titer determination (reach a predetermined titer without consideration of time) as the acceptance criteria;
3. The prices listed above are catalogue prices, the exact price need to be decided according to the actual situation of the project;
4. In addition to rabbits and mice, we also provide rats, goats rapid antibody service, for more details, please contact our staff;
5. For polyclonal antibody services, if the customer want antigen specific affinity purification rather than normal specific affinity purification, the price increases 200$;
6. Theoretically, from animal self-immunity to acquire positive antibody serum will take about 21 days, without antigen preparation and antibody purification time;

Title: Multiple FtsZ2 microforms involved in chloroplast division and biogenesis are developmentally associated with thylakoid membranes in Arabidopsis
Name: anti-FtsZ2 antibody
Species: Arabidopsis thaliana
Type: Rabbit polyclonal antibody
F1. FtsZ2 type proteins are localized in the stroma and developmentally associated with the thylakoid membranes. Immunoblots of protein fractions (30 lg of each) isolated from chloroplasts, stroma, thylakoids and envelopes of four-week-old plants were analyzed with FtsZ2-1/FtsZ2-2, KARI, Bps, IEP37 and OEP21 antibody. The faint signal in the thylakoid fraction observed with the envelope markers indicated a very low level of contamination of the thylakoids with envelope membranes.

Antigen Forms
Polyclonal antibodies can be generated against both soluble and non-soluble recombinant proteins, fusion proteins, gel strips, existing peptide, etc. Live or toxic substances cannot be accepted.
Antigen Quantity
We recommend sending 2-3 mg of the antigen for a rabbit or chicken project and 5-7 mg for a goat project. Extensions or immunochemistry services may require additional antigen.
Antigen Concentration
Leading Biology can work with most protein concentrations as long as this information is provided. 1 mg/ml is a good target range, but higher concentrations are welcome. We consider 0.25 to .5 mg/ml a minimum concentration in most cases to ensure maximum protein volumes in each immunization.
Considerations for Gel Bands
Immunizing with gel bands works well for generating polyclonal antibodies against a purified protein. If providing a gel strip, please stain with coomassie blue, de-stain, rinse and cut out the strip containing the target protein. Please avoid freezing or homogenizing the gel strip so that we can aliquot appropriate quantities of the protein for each immunization. With gel bands, in particular, it is important to maintain a higher concentration of the protein as outlined above.
Shipping Antigens to Leading Biology
Please ship the antigen in a Styrofoam box with ice packs (dry ice isn’t necessary) via FedEx, UPS or DHL Overnight to the address listed on our Order Form.
